Magnetic Friends is a concept album that plays with ideas of isolation, loneliness, and the ways that technology can exacerbate or mitigate these aspects of modern life. Abrasive, lofi, and sparse, this album is the first MTR release to center on drone and electronica influences. Accompanied by a visual component as presented in Geneseo, NY in October 2014.
