The 10th album from MTR Magic Key is a farmcore, bootgaze hum that’ll have you kicking up your boots, your tattered All-Stars, or whatever it is your feet call home. This album tastes of a home-cooked mixtape, seasoned with a spicy mix of 90's crossover dance, Memphis LoFi hiphop, and New Wave, with a final low and slow simmer over Southern Rock. Sharpened within lounge sessions at the MTR Magic Key Leisure Center and under the bright lights at the Pizza Emporium, 'Sugar House' is an earnest effort, worthy of spring and summer playlists, equally at home near the grill, dance floor, or workbench.
